"The Key is Precise Fitting"
STABILITY. PLAYABILITY. FEEL.   Steel is No. 1.
Steel shafts are the No. 1 choice for irons on all pro tours. Golf professionals and skilled amateurs alike appreciate
consistency and accuracy and, as a result, have long preferred steel shafts in their irons.

Steel provides unmatched stability and a fresh feel for true feedback at impact, and the all-new KBS Steel Shafts use
an intelligent design to enhance steel performance even more with Moment of Inertia (MOI) Technology combined with
a proportional reduction in mass and radius during the step progression. As a result, premium KBS Steel Shafts are
engineered to respond to your hands, especially just prior to impact, and optimize every shot.
KBS WEDGE
One of the industry’s only steel wedge shaft engineered with ‘moment of inertia analysis,’ the KBS wedge provides
increase stability and enhanced feel. Unlike other wedge shafts, the KBS wedge incorporates the unique KBS design
that proportionately reduces shaft mass and step radius equally along the shaft’s entire center line which delivers
greater performance with every shot. Beautiful black nickel finish also reduces glare, maximizing your focus for critical
short game shots.

KBS TOUR SERIES
Designed for better players, the KBS Tour shaft was engineered with ‘moment of inertia analysis’ to increase stability
from ‘grip to clubhead’ to enhance the results of well-executed swings. By reducing the mass and radius of each step in
equal proportions along the shaft’s center line, the KBS Tour shaft delivers optimum stability resulting in efficient energy
transfer from the player’s hands to the clubhead. In addition, the KBS Tour shaft incorporated step-by-step Moment of
Inertia analysis to reduce shaft ‘interference’ during a player’s well-executed swing.

KBS HYBRID
Hybrid clubs are a favorite option for trouble lies and for distances where fairway woods and long irons are problematic,
but only the KBS Hybrid shaft gives you high performance in hybrid clubs along with the feel and stability of advanced
steel technology. Lighter weight and with more tip action, the new KBS Hybrid steel shaft features a gradual stepless
taper starting at the anchor location (between the hands) and continuing to the tip just above the hosel). The wall
thickness proportionately increases as the outside diameter decreases, which enhances stability and keeps the hybrid
head tracking toward the target.

KBS Technology

Golfers have been waiting for years to see a tangible difference in steel shaft design, so FST proudly introduces the
KBS Series steel shafts — an all-new premium line of steel shafts engineered by industry-acclaimed steel shaft
designer Kim Braly and featuring advanced Moment of Inertia technology.

A one-of-a-kind design created from unique engineering analysis, the KBS steel shafts deliver optimum stability
resulting in efficient energy transfer from the player’s hands to the clubhead. KBS steel shafts feature a proportionately
equal reduction in shaft mass and step radius along the shaft’s entire center line. In addition, KBS shafts reduce shaft
‘interference’ during the swing which means greater performance for you with every shot.

“Shaft performance is critical in placing the clubhead in the correct position at impact, but most steel shafts on the
market today fail to reach the level of performance and feel necessary to respond effectively in the players’ hands,
especially just prior to impact,” says Braly, whose steel shafts designs are currently being played by Top 10 players in
the world. “The KBS steel shafts use an intelligent design to upgrade the performance with MOI technology and a
proportional reduction in mass and radius during the step progression.”

The new KBS Series steel shafts are unlike anything on the market today. FST researched a wide variety of tubular
structures that endure large stresses or loads and applied a revolutionary new approach with MOI analysis. KBS steel
shafts also incorporate FST’s high-quality precision manufacturing processes, such as:

•Exclusive ‘Oil-Quench’ tempering method which produces shafts that are arrow-straight from butt to tip.

•Tapered tip construction to provide a solid metal-to-metal bond in the hosel and tour-proven feel at impact.

•Higher-than-traditional center of gravity construction to allow for more mass in the clubhead.

•Matching shaft weight and frequency to the strictest tolerances to ensure peak playing performance and guaranteed
repeatability.

FST remains exclusively dedicated to the design and development of high-quality steel golf shafts, and KBS technology
will re-introduce true performance benefits of playing steel to golfers around the world.
